Learn how to cook with plant-based proteins & build strength and muscle in your workouts! You will participate in a 30 min protein presentation, sample some tasty proteins to fuel your workouts, then spend 90 minutes cooking a take-home meal packed with protein. Hosted by Vicki Nelson, local chef and April Joyce, ACE certified fitness trainer and nutritional consultant. The workshop address will be sent to you after registration is complete. Workshop location is near Highway 99 and Sheldon Road in Elk Grove, CA.

This group is for you if you're looking for opportunities to put your well-honed cooking skills to work in the kitchen with other experienced cooks and chefs. No professional experience required, but together we will share our expertise and learn advanced techniques.
For the Soups and Stews workshop, the group will prep all ingredients for cooking in stations. When finished, we will portion the soups and stews into your six take-home containers or jars. A detailed plan will be emailed to you after you complete the registration. On the day of the event, reimbursement of food and packaging supplies will be made through Venmo.
Join us for an interactive nutrition lesson! Kids will learn about the importance of healthy snacks through read aloud books, a short puppet show, cooking demonstration and tasting. This experience is best suited for kids ages 4-8.
We’re making entrees from around the world! Join us for working in teams to make delicious meals to take home for the week. All you need to bring is your apron and take-home containers which serves 1-2 people. Your $20 registration reserves your spot, and the cost of food will be reimbursed on the day of the event via Venmo or cash. Space is limited to 10 participants. A detailed workshop plan will be emailed to you three days before the workshop.
